{Review} RigiPad: The Must Have Portable Changing Pad

Mamas, we’ve all been there.

In the car. At the park. In the nasty bathroom with NO changing station. Where, oh where, can I change this diaper?

Fortunately, our friends at RigiPad have solved this problem; and I had the pleasure of recently trying it out with my new babe!

A Portable Changing Pad for your Lap

One of the uses of the RigiPad portable changing pad is to be able to change your baby on your lap, using the fold out legs. Sitting on a park bench? Playing at the Library? Sitting in the front seat of your car?! (That’s right, no more pulling up the hatchback and changing that poopy while pushing your groceries out of the way). Just unsnap the board, lay the soft pad/carrier on top, and change your sweet babe safely and hygienically right on your lap. And although this changer is intended for its portable use, I enjoyed using it at home! Being a mama to three, it’s not always feasible to run upstairs to the nursery for a change. So, please add keeping an eye on the older kiddos to the list of benefits from this convenient changing pad.

In addition to the fold out legs for changes done solely on your lap, snap the legs down and change your baby on any flat surface! I’ve noticed that most changing pads that accompany diaper bags are flimsy and thin. RigiPad changes that with the firmness of the board and the softness of the carrier/pad. And when you’re done? Fold up the board and the pad transforms back into a carrier with enough room for diapers and wipes. My hubby likes the neutral navy color of ours, but RigiPad portable changing pads come in a ton of fun prints!
